A big week from Chatham to Weymouth with another new crew, two long legs and quite a lot of being out of phone signal.

After orientation and a gear box oil change on Sunday, we left early on Monday morning for Ramsgate. Sail hoisting and person overboard drills went well and we arrived in Ramsgate late that evening after battling strong tides.

Another early start on Tuesday saw us facing a serious blow on Thursday night, so we settled in for a single push on watches through to arrival in Weymouth at 2.00pm on Thursday.

Wind speeds and sea states had steadily worsened through Wednesday night but the crew performed well and we were able to be under sail the majority of the way.

Now moored and cleaning up ready for the next crew on a Saturday.
