22nd March 2019

A long slow passage pretty much head to wind and against the tide two thirds of the way to Lowestoft.

The need to be in for the Saturday crew change thus forced a fuel heavy passage due to motor sailing.

The crew proved happy and competent throughout despite the 3 hour watches through the night and we got through the bridge at Lowestoft and headed for the Marina just after 6.00pm after a successful first week of our round Britain adventure.

The Williams II is in great shape for another week.
