Explore the magnificent UK coast on our 1 day, 3 day or 5 day sails. When you sail with Blyth Tall Ship, you are supporting our small charity and aiding the work we do in preserving maritime and heritage skills as well as providing learning and training opportunities in the North East community.
All sails are subject to change due to weather or safety concerns and are at the discretion of our Skipper.
Spend a summer’s day exploring the stunning Northumbrian coast aboard the Williams II, our proud 110-year-old tall ship. Hoist the sails and experience the coastline from a whole new perspective as you glide across the waves under canvas.
You’ll spend the day sailing, sharing stories, and enjoying a delicious meal prepared by our cooks, along with plenty of tea, coffee, and biscuits to keep you fuelled.

Spend three unforgettable days aboard the Williams II, exploring the wild beauty of the northern coast. It’s the perfect way to add a touch of adventure to your life and strengthen your sea legs. Cruise along the northeastern shoreline, discovering hidden gems that can only be seen from the sea. You’ll take in historical wonders such as Bamburgh Castle to natural delights like our beautiful Farne Islands making memories along the way.
Keep an eye out for dolphins playing in your wake as you sail through waters rich with history. Don’t worry- while you’ll be living aboard a 110-year-old vessel, your meals will be far more luxurious than the ship’s biscuits of old.
